Feds seize ChipMixer
a darknet cryptocurrency mixing service that facilitied the laundering more than $3B. About a one minute read.
Comment: it’s curious The Feds now seem to be taking down assets found on darknet as readily as they do with clearnet resident assets. It shows they have sharply increased their investigative capabilities and somehow can track activity. Of course doing over $3B not only attracts signifiant attention, but also makes it easier to investigate, as the volumes are much higher. Oh yeh — these guys behind ChipMixer are twats. Don’t know why they would facilitate fraud but I guess they got paid. Now they gotta pay and The Feds don’t like crap like they pulled.
